Synopsis:

This romantic comedy revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hikigaya Hachiman with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he see his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters, They’re a bunch of liars. When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, Not working. A teacher gets Hachiman to join the volunteer service club, which happens to have the school’s prettiest girl, Yukinoshita Yukino. (Source: ANN)

Comment:

Nothing much happened except for the main guy, Hikigaya, joining a club and talks about stuffs with the ice-cold beauty, Yukino. They kept on throwing dialogues to each other and that’s all. The dialogues make sense and I agree to most of them. I wasn’t bored, maybe because I’m digesting their conversation. However, I hope this show would not continue with this kind of thing. As much as I enjoyed their life commentaries, it’s just too much in a single episode. I want some stuffs to happen and not just two persons talking in a so-boring clubroom and some cookies baking.

Anyway, the visuals is nice and appealing as well the sounds. The characters are your usual casts in a RomCom *cough* harem *cough*. Hikigaya reminds me of Kodaka (Haganai) however I like him better. Calling someone he just met a bitch? Nice. There’s this Yukinoshita, whose problem reminds me of Sena’s (Haganai). Wait… this isn’t a Haganai copy, right?

Verdict:

I won’t say that I liked it but I don’t hate it either. I’ll watch the 2nd episode and see whether I’ll keep it or I’ll drop it.
